Whether it’s for an awards season viewing party or your little super star, these Star Cinnamon Crisps will become an instant winner at your next party! This is an easy recipe that can be baked a day ahead and stored in an airtight container. Eat them on their own or use them as an ice cream or cupcake topper! Kids will love crafting different tortilla shapes, pretending to paint with butter, and sprinkling with cinnamon sugar! Watch out, they’ll be licking their fingers after this food craft!
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheets with aluminum foil (optional).
In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Set aside.
Using a cookie cutter, cut stars out of the flour tortillas.
Place stars onto the baking sheets. Using a pastry brush, brush melted butter on both sides of the stars. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake in the oven until sugar melts and tortillas become crisp, about 10 minutes. Baking time will vary depending on size of stars. Store in an air tight container.
