Raspberry Jam

Free of any unnecessary added sugars, homemade jams are a healthy and versatile snack. Spread this delicious Raspberry Jam on toast, crackers, or use it to fill our Heart Tarts!

Raspberry Chia Seed Jam
Serves: 1 cup
 
Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • Honey to taste (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, heat raspberries over medium-high heat. If using fresh berries, add 1-2 tablespoons of water.
  2. As berries begin to cook, reduce heat to a simmer. Mash berries.
  3. Cook berries to a reduction. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in chia seeds, lemon zest, and honey.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
