Kid-Friendly New Year’s Eve: Sparkling Fruit Water

Hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party? Wondering what to serve the kids? Instead of juice boxes, try something simple and festive which will make the kids feel extra special! Sparkling water and fruit is a perfect combination to toast in the new year. There are some pairing suggestions listed below, but feel free to have a variety of fruits out for kids to scoop into their own cups! They might create a new fruit concoction to inspire all.

If you want the kids to have a little craft during the party, leave out a variety of glitter card stock and cookie cutters. Younger kids can trace their favorite shapes onto the paper (tip: trace on the backside of the glitter card stock), while the older kids can cut them out and tape them onto kabob sticks. Kids can use these to decorate their drinks or spear fruit onto them for a fruity treat!

Kids Can Help:

  • Use different shaped ice molds.
  • Sort fruit into bowls.
  • Decorate fruit kabobs.
  • Trace shapes onto card stock.
  • Cut and tape shapes onto kabob sticks.
  • Spear fruit with kabob sticks.
