The contents of each Foodstirs kit will vary but each will contain the same components: one sweet recipe, key dry ingredients for the sweet recipe, specialty cooking tools needed to complete the craft and a bonus savory recipe to challenge your skills.
Kids love cooking at any age. We have made our recipes easy for parents to do with their kids of any age. Children who can read can complete the easy recipes with adult supervision. That being said, we think children who are 4 years or older will fully enjoy the cooking experience the most.
All of the Foodstirs recipes are created from scratch by our awesome chefs in Los Angeles.
We use quality, natural ingredients. Our flours, sugars, and cocoa powders are always organic. Our food colorings are all made without artificial dies. We strive for all-natural, non-GMO, and sustainable when we can get it.
We combined the word ‘food’ with ‘hipsters,’ because cooking is hip and cool people like to do it! Stir it up means not being afraid to explore, have fun and be creative. We hope all kids and families embrace this concept and enjoy family time in the busiest room in their home…the kitchen!
Each kit is filled with a fun food craft to cook, challenge your culinary chops and enjoy! Our 3 kit bundle will be delivered to your home each month for 3 months. The Foodstirs Cooking Series teaches kids cooking basics such as mixing, measuring, rolling and other fun food related challenges to get kids excited about playing in the kitchen.
You’ll receive an email when your order ships. We ship from Los Angeles, so shipping time is 3-5 business days. Your first order of a bundle will be shipped within 3-5 business days, while the next box will be shipped on the 1st or 15th, depending on when your original order was.
We have designed a program that is filled with delicious surprises each month, so you don’t even have to think about it. But just in case you do, know that we follow a specific lesson plan with each kits skills building upon the previously learned skills and therefore the kits are sent in a predetermined order.

We will send you an email when the series is ending and give you the opportunity to sign up for another 3 kit bundle filled with new and exciting projects and challenges. But don’t limit yourself to just our bundles! We love to create so keep an eye out for our themed kits.
Customers are billed once for the entire bundle, upfront.
Billing will occur immediately before your first shipment, and never again (unless you purchase another fun cooking bundle).
Once the first box in your bundle has shipped, you can not cancel. Keep in mind that our bundles are not a traditional subscription service, in that we won’t bill you again without a subsequent purchase.
Not yet. The kit series ships every month, which we find is the best way to enjoy our food crafting kits, If you have extenuated circumstances, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Our chef aprons and hats come in one size that fits ages 4 to 12. All of our bandanas are one size fits all!
All ingredients and allergens are listed on the recipe cards and the individual ingredients. We do not use nuts in any of our recipes; however, our ingredients are packaged in a facility that may contain tree nuts, wheat, dairy and soy. Wheat flour is also a main ingredient in most of our recipes. If you have any questions or concerns, just ask us by emailing info@foodstirs.com.
